| Description: | NEW: SITTING GROUP STARTS 11/17/11. CHRISTIANE WOLF WILL KICK START THE GROUP. The group meets every other Thursday. General format of the meetings: First we talk and answer questions for a few minutes, then there is a 40-minute sit. Then we read something aloud and discuss and talk about that and anything relating to the dharma or our individual practices. This is a kalyanamitta (Pali for spiritual friend) group; all are welcome. It takes place every Tuesday evening in the beautiful home of Daisy Swan, a member of our InsightLA community. Various InsightLA teachers (like Christiane Wolf and Beth Sternlieb) will teach the group every couple of weeks. Please sign up for the group to get emails about this sitting group. | |
