A paid staff of 2 full-time people, Trudy Goodman, Executive Director, and Devin Thomas, Director of Operations, run the administrative office of InsightLA. Ongoing support from a dedicated and enthusiastic group of volunteers is vital to the success of our programs and the strength of our community. Our teachers, deeply trained in mindfulness practice, develop our teaching programs. A Board of Directors, comprised of teachers and sangha members, is the central decision-making body, supported by an Executive Council of a dozen volunteers. The essential work of the Council is implemented with the help of several committees. The Board, Council and all committees of InsightLA operate by a basic belief that mindfulness can infuse all that we do and can be practiced by all.
