Do you already have some meditation experience? We offer classes and programs to help you deepen and grow.
1. What the Buddha Taught
InsightLA’s "What the Buddha Taught" course series offers an in-depth understanding of core Buddhist teachings and meditation practices essential in the journey of awakening as taught within the Insight meditation tradition. Grounded in Buddhist principles and practices, but accessible to people of all faiths or no faith at all, these classes provide the jumping off point for a transformational journey towards a richer, more meaningful life.
2. Mindfulness in Daily Life
This six-week class is for people who have learned the fundamentals of mindfulness meditation, and want to continue with daily meditation practice and bring the heart of what they’ve learned more and more into their daily life.
3. Deepening Your Practice
InsightLA’s Founder and Guiding Teacher, Trudy Goodman, teaches our ongoing Thursday morning class.
4. Retreats
Meditation retreats offer an opportunity to deepen your practice. Retreats are held monthly and usually last for one or two days. It’s a time for you to experiment and play with your edges if you’re new, and to expand and explore your range more when you’ve had some experience.
You may also choose to participate in one of our sitting groups or workshops on a special topic. We also regularly bring accomplished teachers to Los Angeles as part of our Speakers Series programs. Read more about these programs here.
