We are no longer taking registrations for this class/event.
Feb 28 (Tue) - Apr 18 (Tue)
10:00am - 11:45am (8 weeks)
Santa Monica
This class will be an in-depth look at The Four Noble Truths, the essential teachings of the Buddha on happiness and the end of stress and suffering. It is not necessary to be a Buddhist to benefit from the wisdom teachings presented in this class. These Truths are the foundation of loving awareness and like a pole star guide us on our journey from reactivity and discomfort to meeting our life with wisdom and freedom.

The course will be taught as a mix of meditation, practice and study. There will be a practical emphasis on how we apply and live these teachings in our everyday lives. Practice will emphasize the importance of cultivating an embodied awareness moment to moment. There will be guided meditation instruction, talks and group discussions, recommended readings, and home practice.

Ideal for students with some meditation experience such as students who have taken "Basics of Mindfulness Meditation,"
"Mindful Self-Compassion, "Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction," or "Intro to the Buddha's Teachings". Those who wish to support their mindfulness meditation practice with a deeper understanding of traditional mindfulness teachings are welcome.

If you have some meditation experience but have not taken an InsightLA class, please contact the teacher to find out if this class is for you.
